What do I need to pay using Tamara?


Simple! All you need is to be over 18 years old and have a verifiable mobile number, a national ID or residency card, and a bank/payment card valid in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates or Kuwait.*

When will I receive my order if I pay using Tamara?


Receive your orders at the same time specified by the store, and pay according to the chosen plan!


When you choose Tamara as your payment method, the first payment is due upon ordering and once paid, your order is confirmed and shipped to you according to the store's policy.

What if I want to return/cancel my order?

With Tamara, refund and return services are based on the store's policy. When you cancel or return your order, the store will notify Tamara and your payment plan will be updated immediately and any difference in the amount will be refunded/updated.

What happens if I miss my payment due date?

As long as you pay your payments on time, you will never be charged a late fee! In case of failure to pay on time, a late fee of 25 Saudi Riyals / AED or 2 Kuwaiti Dinars will be charged the day after the due date.

It will be repeated every 15 days with the same late fee value. The total late fee does not exceed 150 Saudi Riyals / AED or 12 Kuwaiti Dinars or a quarter of the order value (the minimum of both options will apply).

Note: If you are repeatedly late in paying your payments, your information will be uploaded to the Saudi Credit Bureau (SIMAH) or the UAE Credit Bureau or the Credit Information Network Company (Ci-Net) in Kuwait, which will affect your credit score, and your Tamara account may be suspended until the late payments are paid.


Why was my application rejected?

The application may be rejected for several reasons, including:

Your bank card does not support online purchasing.

There are financial defaults with a bank, telecommunications company, or entity registered with SIMAH/Etihad Credit Bureau/Ci-Net.

You have unpaid amounts with Tamara.

The application was rejected by our risk program, which depends on several factors, including purchases and their value.


Your application amount is above the permitted limit.


If the reasons mentioned above do not apply to you, we advise you to try again with a different card.
